Anacy describes the meaning behind My Sweet Lullaby

“The concept of the song is about dealing with the loss of a loved one. In March, someone very close to me passed away and I wrote this song as a tribute to him and to honor his life. The single reflects back on the incredible memories we had and how I will cherish every moment spent together for the rest of my life.

The inspiration was to find closure and comfort in the fact that he is no longer living physically on this Earth but will forever live on in my heart.

He was a true angel and I am eternally grateful for the love he showed me. I hope this song will make him smile from heaven”.

My Sweet Lullaby was recorded and produced at Cosher Studios. Over the years she has developed a close working relationship with Howard Edward, Colin Sher, Tanner Mason and Ross Rowley at Cosher.

I am really proud of this project as I feel it truly reflects my sound and me as an artist,” Says Anacy.

Anacy is currently a music radio presenter at Bush Radio and draws inspiration from nature and people in her environment. She has performed at numerous music venues and festivals and her latest 4 singles have been playlisted and charted on several radio stations.

My Sweet Lullaby is out on all digital platforms 31 October 2021.
